Biological Characteristics: 
People usually confused this species with their cousin, the black widow (Lactrodectus sp.). Male usually lives 1 to 1.5 years and Female can reach 6 years max. Since all spiders have venom, this species' bite can cause blister (less severe than Lactrodectus sp.)

This spider can be found at the center of the when it is waiting for the prey and on the edge of the web when it is resting.
